About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Payment Gateway Sales Agent to introduce businesses to our ecommerce payment gateway and Point of Sale (POS) solutions. This opportunity is suited to independent sales professionals, fintech consultants, POS resellers and industry agents looking to build a portfolio of merchants and earn ongoing residual income. As an independent consultant, you will identify prospective merchants, introduce suitable payment solutions and facilitate onboarding. The role combines flexible remote working with a monthly retainer, upfront acquisition commissions and recurring commissions based on merchant processing volume.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and engage prospective merchants across ecommerce, retail, hospitality, SaaS, automotive, education and other goods and services industries.
• Introduce payment gateway solutions, POS systems and related merchant services.
• Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Understand merchant payment needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Facilitate merchant applications and onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal onboarding and support teams to ensure smooth merchant activation.
• Generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals and industry contacts.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities and progress.
• Maintain merchant relationships to encourage long-term processing activity. Ideal Candidate Profile




• At least three years of B2B sales experience, preferably within payments, fintech, POS or ecommerce.
• An existing network of merchants, retailers or business owners is highly advantageous.
• An understanding of payment processing or merchant acquiring is preferred.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate independently.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to explain payment solutions clearly and confidently.
• A proactive approach to generating business and building long-term recurring revenue. Compensation Structure The role offers a retainer alongside uncapped commission potential:
• Annual retainer: AUD $30,000, paid in monthly instalments of $2,500.
• Upfront commissions: Commission for each successfully onboarded merchant.
• Ongoing residual commissions: Recurring income based on merchant processing volume.
