About the Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver with a valid Forklift Licence to join our hardworking team based in Port Augusta.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of general freight to customers throughout Port Augusta and surrounding regional areas. Duties will include loading, unloading and delivering a variety of freight, including pallets, skids and cartons.

What you will be doing:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between approximately 5:00am and 7:00am.
- Sorting and organising freight into the correct delivery runs.
- Completing deliveries and pickups throughout Port Augusta and surrounding regional areas.
- Providing friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers during deliveries and pickups.
- Conducting pre-start and routine vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Using RF scanning equipment to accurately scan and track freight.




- Ensuring all freight is handled safely and delivered in a timely manner.

About you:

- Hold a current HR Licence or higher.
- Previous HR truck driving experience is essential.
- A current Forklift Licence and experience operating a forklift will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe driving practices and have a good driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using modern technology and equipment, including touchscreens and RF scanners.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused team environment.
- Previous experience in the transport industry, with a reliable, adaptable and positive attitude.
