About the location Based at our Essendon Fields facility, located behind Essendon Fields Airport within a broader manufacturing precinct. You'll be part of a cooperative, design-led environment, working closely with our construction, design and manufacturing teams.

About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Victorian construction team, reporting to the Construction Manager. This role is suited to someone with a solid background in commercial construction, who enjoys being involved in all aspects of project delivery rather than overseeing projects from a distance. You'll take ownership of projects from initial planning and client engagement through to design coordination, construction, installation and final handover. Alongside managing project financials, contracts and programs, you'll lead your project team, manage day-to-day people matters and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your day to day will include:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, budgets and project milestones are achieved.




• Take ownership of project financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, progress claims, variations and contract administration.
• Develop and manage construction programs, procurement schedules, subcontractors and consultants to keep projects on track.
• Lead and support project teams, providing clear direction, managing day-to-day performance and addressing people matters as they arise.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, resolving project challenges and ensuring a smooth delivery through to handover. What you'll bring
• A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant construction industry experience, ideally gained within a Tier 2 commercial builder.
• A background in Contracts Administration, Project Engineering or a similar project delivery role, with demonstrated progression into project management.
• Proven experience managing construction projects from commencement through to completion, with strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Confidence managing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting,



construction programs and subcontractor performance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage project teams, navigate challenging conversations and take accountability for outcomes.
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to balance commercial, operational and client priorities.
• Experience in modular or prefabricated construction would be advantageous but is not essential. Please note that Modscape does not offer visa sponsorships; to apply you must have full working rights in Australia.
