Acme Care Service is a registered NDIS provider delivering culturally responsive, person-centred support. We're hiring casual Disability Support Workers in Thornhill Park, Melton and the surrounding Western Melbourne suburbs.
About the role
You'll support a Filipino participant at home and in the community. Familiarity with Filipino culture, food and customs is highly valued, and speaking Filipino (Tagalog) is a bonus. The participant has requested a female support worker for personal care. Acme Care Service considers being female a genuine occupational requirement for this position under section 26 of the Equal Prospect Act 2010 (Vic).
What you'll do
• Support the participant with personal care and household tasks
• Assist with community access, appointments and social activities
• Help build independence and daily living skills
• Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports Must have
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Full driver's licence and own reliable, insured car
• Australian work rights
• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or Disability (preferred), or relevant experience

• $38 – $44 per hour (casual)
