About The Role
As a Salesforce Developer, you will work with project teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver practical, reliable solutions. You will contribute across the delivery lifecycle, from research and requirements analysis through solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to sustainment. You will apply strong Salesforce platform knowledge to configure solutions and develop custom functionality where required. A key part of the role is using Salesforce out-of-the-box capabilities and configuration wherever they meet the need, while ensuring that integrations, data models, security, records management, and long-term maintenance are appropriately considered. You will also help investigate technical issues and support users in a fast-paced project environment. Qualifications Candidates should have at least five years of experience delivering Salesforce projects and a demonstrated record of implementing and configuring Salesforce solutions. Strong experience with enterprise integration design and delivery is required.



You will be expected to configure and modify custom objects, flows, permission sets, sharing settings, and other platform components. Advanced practical experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is required. Applicants should demonstrate sound knowledge of Salesforce best practices and platform functionality, along with experience troubleshooting development and configuration errors. Familiarity with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud is valuable; Public Sector Solutions experience is highly desirable. Relevant certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, and Salesforce Platform App Builder. Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certifications are highly desirable. Salesforce OmniStudio Developer certification is desirable. Experience with Azure DevOps, version control, and advanced continuous integration and delivery tooling is also sought. Responsibilities Gather and analyse business requirements by working with stakeholders to understand processes, objectives, and operational needs. Assess workflows and, where appropriate, use BPMN modelling to support clear process understanding. Develop evidence-based recommendations that consider organisational strategy, commercial needs, sustainability, security, and records management.



Design and deliver Salesforce configuration, custom development, data models, and enterprise integrations. Promote appropriate use of standard platform functionality and configurable workflows, including when business processes are adapted to align with those capabilities. Track work through Agile, Kanban, or Scrum practices, and use version control and CI/CD tools to support quality delivery. Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders. Communicate technical information clearly to different audiences, share considered recommendations, and contribute positively in a fast-paced environment. Support knowledge transfer, transition delivered solutions to sustainment, provide technical assistance, and troubleshoot end-user issues. Maintain awareness of Salesforce releases, relevant issues, and security vulnerabilities, and participate in the Salesforce community.
