THE ROLE
We're seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join our Tasmanian team.
You'll be working across busy kitchen operations, preparing high-quality meals in established hospitality venues, delivering memorable dining experiences and maintaining exceptional kitchen standards.

What We're Looking For

- Solid experience in busy, upmarket hospitality venues.
- Confident preparing fine dining, pub classics and modern bistro-style menus.
- Experience with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ability to prepare and cook menu items consistently to a high standard.
- Physically fit and capable of working long shifts, including lifting and moving equipment and stock.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a close-knit kitchen team.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- Passion for producing quality food and memorable dining experiences.




- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Food Safety certification.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Willingness and ability to travel for work where required.
- Current National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months), or willingness to obtain one.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

- Modern Australian cuisine.
- Steaks, seafood and grill.
- Understanding of dietary requirements, allergies and special dietary requests.
- Menu costing, ordering and stock management.
