Elite Staffing is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators and Storepersons for multiple opportunities across Melbourne's south-east.

We work with established businesses across manufacturing, heavy industrial, warehouse distribution and FMCG, offering a variety of roles for reliable candidates looking for ongoing work and potential permanent employment.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience operating Counterbalance and High Reach forklifts who are confident working in busy warehouse, manufacturing and industrial environments.

What's on offer?

- $35.79 - $40 per hour, depending on experience and role
- Reasonable overtime opportunities

- Work up to 5 days per week, with day or afternoon shift opportunities available.
- Flexible shift availability across Monday to Friday, depending on site requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on the site and position, your duties may include:

- Operating Counterbalance and/or High Reach forklifts
- Loading and unloading incoming trucks
- Receiving, checking and putting stock away
- Labelling and organising materials
- Conducting regular stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Shrink-wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch
- Supplying materials and consumables to production departments
- Maintaining a clean,



safe and organised storeroom or warehouse
- Completing basic computer work, data entry and general store duties

What We're Looking For

- Current and valid LF forklift licence
- Proven experience operating Counterbalance and/or High Reach forklifts
- Experience operating 2.5T or 3T counterbalance forklifts highly regarded
- Previous warehouse, stores, manufacturing or distribution experience
- Current driver's licence and reliable own transport
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate stock records
- Chemical handling experience advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work safely in a hands-on, fast-paced workplace
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment functional and physical assessment

- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and functional assessment
- Drug and alcohol screening may form part of the recruitment process
- Satisfactory employment references and background checks
- Must have reliable own transport to travel to work

PPE Requirements

Candidates must supply their own:

- Steel-cap safety boots
- High-visibility workwear
