We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at our Dandenong manufacturing site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee receiving, inventory, warehousing and dispatch while driving safety, food quality, productivity and customer service.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead day-to-day warehouse, inventory and dispatch operations.
- Champion safety, GMP, HACCP and food quality standards.
- Maintain solid inventory accuracy, FIFO and stock control.
- Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team.
- Manage rostering, labour utilisation and operational priorities.
- Coordinate transport providers and customer deliveries.
- Drive Lean, continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Improve productivity, service levels and warehouse efficiency.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Solid exerience in warehouse and distribution operations.
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automated or semi-automated warehousing.
- Strong inventory and stock management capability.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing requirements.
- Experience with Lean or Continuous Improvement.
- Strong people leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Current Forklift Licence.
