A Classroom Like No Other

Join Kulkarriya Community School as a full time Primary School Teacher (Pre-Primary/Year 1 or Year 2/3) in Yungngora Community. Reporting to the Principal, you will collaborate with fellow educators and Aboriginal Education Workers to provide a high-quality, inclusive learning experience grounded in local culture.

Duties

- Deliver differentiated lessons aligned to the WA curriculum
- Collaborate with Aboriginal educators in a team-teaching environment
- Incorporate two-way learning that reflects local cultural knowledge
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and community
- Manage classroom behaviour in a culturally aware and responsive way

Life in Yungngora

- Annual salary of $110,000–$130,000 + Super, plus a $9,000 Semester 1 bonus
- $5,000 Relocation Allowance
- Fully furnished housing ($50/fortnight) with free utilities and Starlink Wi-Fi
- Half day Fridays for planning or rest

Is This You?

- Bachelor of Education, TRBWA registration,



and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Cultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal communities
- ESL or EALD teaching experience or strategies
- Strong curriculum knowledge and behaviour management skills
- Four-wheel drive licence or willingness to obtain

About Kulkarriya

Located on Noonkanbah Station in Yungngora Community, Kulkarriya Community School is a community-led, culturally grounded school serving K–10 students. With around 55 students and 7 teachers, we feature small class sizes, team-teaching, and a unique two-way learning model valuing Aboriginal languages and English.
