A busy timber company based in Clyde North is seeking an experienced and dependable Truck Driver to join our team immediately. This role involves transporting and delivering timber products to various sites and clients. You must be comfortable working a demanding schedule, with regular opportunities for over 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate and maneuver MR or HR vehicles for timber transport.
Secure loads properly ensuring all timber is strapped and chained safely.
Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork.
Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
Requirements
Valid Australian MR or HR Driver's License.
A valid ABN (Australian Business Number).
Proven experience driving heavy vehicles, ideally within the timber, steel, or construction materials sector.
Clean driving record (VicRoads printout required).
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
