Natural Floors Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced natural flooring installer to join our Adelaide team in a full time position.
We specialise in premium natural floorcoverings and undertake high-quality residential and commercial installations throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas.
The successful applicant must have at least one year existing experience installing natural fibre floorcoverings, including sisal, jute, wool and seagrass.
This is not a trainee or entry-level position. Applicants must already possess the skills and experience required to independently install natural floorcoverings to a high professional standard.
Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Installing sisal, jute, wool and seagrass floorcoverings
- Wall-to-wall carpet installations
- Wall-to-wall staircase installations in sisal, jute, wool and seagrass
- Stair runner installations in sisal, jute, wool and seagrass
- Measuring, cutting, joining, fitting and finishing floorcoverings
- Undertaking detailed and technically demanding installation work
- Preparing installation areas as required
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation
- Working carefully within clients' homes and commercial premises
- Working independently and as part of the Natural Floors installation team
Our projects are frequently undertaken in high-end homes and architecturally designed spaces. Exceptional workmanship, attention to detail and care when working in a client's property are therefore essential.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must:
- Have professional natural flooring installation experience
- Have demonstrated experience installing sisal, jute, wool and seagrass
- Have demonstrated experience installing these natural fibres on staircases in both wall-to-wall and runner form
- Be highly skilled in cutting, joining, fitting and finishing natural floorcoverings
- Be capable of completing technically detailed installation work to a high standard
- Produce consistently high-quality workmanship
- Be punctual, reliable and well organised
- Be professional and presentable when dealing with clients
- Take pride in their work and demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
