About the Role
You'll play an important role in keeping Border Security client's assests, people and visitors safe by:
- Conducting patrols of buildings and surrounding areas
- Monitoring access and maintaining a secure setting
- Responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Preparing clear and accurate incident reports
- Assisting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Following company safety and security procedures
What You'll Bring
- Current QLD Security Guard Licence
- Current QLD Driver Licence
- Previous security experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A calm, confident, and professional approach
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic English and mathematics skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work independently
