Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting one of the world's most advanced maritime patrol aircraft programs? As a Systems Administrator on the P8A Poseidon team, you'll be managing and maintaining a diverse range of complex IT systems that keep our military customer mission ready.
This role is shift-work and is located at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
As a System Administrator within BDA, you will * Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT/OT infrastructure components. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. * Carry out patching and system hardening. * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. * Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues. * Monitor rigorous backup and disaster recovery protocols * Document and track system configuration. About you
To be successful in this role you will have: * Robust knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) * Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO,TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Understanding of cyber security practices.



* Familiarity with Ticket Systems * Ability to obtain NV2 Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
