The Opportunity

Are you a Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director looking for greater autonomy, quality client relationships and a genuine pathway to equity partnership?

Our client is a well-established North Sydney chartered accounting and advisory firm with five Partners and approximately 30 professionals.

The firm advises successful privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth clients across business services, taxation, business advisory and SMSF.

Clients typically generate $5M–$50M in turnover, with a strong presence in property, importing and manufacturing. The firm takes a proactive approach to client relationships, providing regular strategic and commercial advice beyond traditional compliance.

With continued growth and succession planning, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Services & Tax professional to join the leadership team and progress towards equity partnership.

The RoleWorking directly with the Partners, you will manage an established client portfolio, lead a team and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
Key responsibilities include:

- Manage and develop relationships with privately owned businesses and high-net-worth family groups
- Provide strategic business, taxation and commercial advice
- Lead client meetings and identify business advisory opportunities
- Oversee financial statements, tax returns and complex compliance matters
- Advise on business structures, tax planning,



profitability and business performance
- Collaborate with dedicated SMSF specialists
- Lead, mentor and develop staff while managing workflow and quality
- Contribute to business development and practice growth

About You

We welcome applications from experienced Senior Managers, Associate Directors and Directors within Australian public practice.

Ideally, you will have:

- CA qualification or equivalent
- Strong Business Services & Tax experience within chartered accounting
- Experience managing substantial client portfolios and senior client relationships
- Sound technical knowledge across taxation, compliance and business advisory
- Proven team leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
- Ambition to progress towards equity partnership
