We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain applications within a secure ICT workplace. Experience with Python, PySpark and/or Java is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Translate requirements into practical software solutions.
- Develop application components, APIs and database integrations.
- Write and maintain automated tests, investigate defects and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation and software releases.
Skills & experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining software applications.
- Experience with Python and/or Java, or relevant transferable development skills.
- PySpark experience desirable where data processing is required.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, Git and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of secure coding and Agile delivery.
Security Clearance: Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearance is strictly required
