About the Role
Due to growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Darwin Office. In this role you will deliver overhead and underground line design, ranging from Sub-transmission to Distribution level., utility focused design works, and stake holder management. You will be working under a group of senior and experienced engineers who will provide guidance and technical advise. You will be supported with ongoing training and development, allowing you to build on your existing technical knowledge, experience, and skills as you take ownership of detailed design work and grow into a true subject matter expert. You will also need:




• An Electrical Engineering Degree
• 5+ years experience in High Voltage design industry is desirable
• Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering design, ideally in substation, power transmission, or distribution environments.
• Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and to manage workload priorities and project deliverables.
• Legal entitlement to work in Australia.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence. The following will be an advantage:
• Prior experience in Australian power transmission and distribution utilities.
• Experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Experience mentoring or supporting graduate and junior engineers.
