The Reject Shop
Australia
You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype. The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama, and we’re building something big. 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for our business. With our store network expanding, our customer experience evolving and our sights set on growing towards 700 stores, we're investing in the people, systems and technology that will support our next chapter of growth. Behind every product on our shelves is a complex supply chain, supported by accurate inventory, reliable warehouse systems and seamless operations. That's where you come in. We're looking for an experienced Inventory & Systems Manager to join our Distribution Centre team and play a pivotal role across two critical areas of our operation: inventory integrity and warehouse management systems. This is a unique opportunity to combine your inventory management expertise with systems knowledge, becoming the subject matter expert across our Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF and voice technology, scanning automation and associated processes. With a major transformation underway, including the transition to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in delivering new systems capability, improving operational processes and ensuring our inventory data is accurate, reliable and trusted across the business. What you'll be doing You'll take ownership of the systems and inventory functions across our Distribution Centre, ensuring our warehouse technology operates effectively and our inventory figures remain accurate and accountable. Your responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the subject matter expert for our Warehouse Management System (WMS), overseeing the flow of inventory from inbound receipt through to outbound dispatch.
• Managing and supporting warehouse technologies, including RF equipment, voice technology and scanning automation.
• Playing a key role in the implementation and rollout of SAP EWM across our warehouse operations.
• Working closely with project stakeholders to support the successful transition to EWM, providing operational knowledge, troubleshooting and ongoing systems support.
• Maintaining inventory integrity by monitoring stock quantities, carton volumes and inventory values, ensuring alignment between WMS and SAP.
• Overseeing cycle counting processes, investigating discrepancies and ensuring inventory adjustments are accurately recorded.
• Act as the data integrity and Stock on Hand subject matter expert.
• Preparing and delivering monthly inventory variance reports, monitoring discrepancies and maintaining agreed financial tolerance levels.
• Partnering with Finance, Distribution Centre and Merchandise teams to ensure inventory data is accurate and supports reliable business reporting.
• Ensuring site teams follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), inventory controls and operational processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, systems functionality and warehouse efficiency.
• Working collaboratively with operational teams, providing guidance, support and technical knowledge to ensure consistent processes and outcomes. What you'll bring We're looking for someone who combines strong inventory fundamentals with an interest and curiosity in systems and technology. You'll be detail-oriented, commercially minded and comfortable working across operational and technical teams. You'll ideally bring:
• 3–5 years' experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse systems or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations and stock adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and understand their financial impact.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and an understanding of warehouse processes from inbound through to outbound.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly macros, spreadsheets and data analysis.
• The ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends and prepare meaningful variance reporting.
• A collaborative approach, with the confidence to work across different departments and engage with operational teams.
• Experience supporting, guiding or working alongside diverse teams, including younger team members.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to learn new systems, solve problems and adapt to changing business requirements. Experience with SAP EWM would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're open to someone with strong transferable WMS experience who is keen to develop their systems expertise and grow with the business. What we can offer you This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role that sits at the intersection of technology, inventory and warehouse operations, with genuine scope to make an impact. You'll have the opportunity to:
• Lead an inventory team in a large, fast paced, 24/7 Retail DC
• Play a key role in a major systems transformation, helping deliver the warehouse rollout of SAP EWM.
• Become the go-to subject matter expert across our warehouse management systems and supporting technologies.
• Work closely with key stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Merchandise and Distribution Centre operations.
• Take ownership of two critical business functions, with the opportunity to influence processes, systems and inventory accuracy.
• Enjoy adaptable
working hours

• Join a business experiencing significant growth and transformation as part of an established global retail group. This is more than an inventory management role.
