- Establish and maintain the EAM Policy, strategic asset management framework, objectives, minimum requirements and governance arrangements.
- Set enterprise requirements and methodologies for asset management plans, lifecycle strategies across asset classes, asset health, criticality, lifecycle costing and asset risk.
- Develop and implement the appropriate digital strategy, including Asset Performance Management, to assess asset health, and support risk-based maintenance and replacement decisions.

- Establish the enterprise asset risk methodology and requirements within AusNet’s broader enterprise risk framework.
- Monitor conformance with the EAMS and undertake risk-based thematic reviews and maturity assessments.
- Define enterprise asset management performance, maturity and conformance measures and provide consolidated reporting to senior management and governance forums.
- Lead and develop the Enterprise Asset Management team and maintain a sustainable enterprise asset management capability.
- Act as a trusted adviser to executives and governance forums on the effectiveness of the Enterprise Asset Management System and systemic asset management matters.

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a positive combination of:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, asset management, business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional certifications or accreditations such as CAMA, CPAM or equivalent desirable.
- Leadership experience in asset management within energy, utilities or other large, asset-intensive infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience establishing, implementing or improving an enterprise Asset Management System across multiple asset portfolios.
- Strong practical knowledge of the ISO 55000 series, including ISO 55001 requirements and their application.
- Demonstrated experience developing asset management policy, governance,

lifecycle decision frameworks, and assurance programs
- Strong understanding of risk-based lifecycle management, asset management planning, asset performance and investment decision support.
- Experience working in a regulated infrastructure environment; Australian energy regulatory experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking, with the ability to convert enterprise strategy into practical frameworks, requirements and improvement priorities.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to advise executives and governance forums.
- Demonstrated ability to build organisational capability, lead change and develop high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of electricity transmission and distribution, gas, metering or contestable infrastructure is desirable
