The Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time role where you will lead the management, governance and continuous improvement of Veolia’s SHEQ systems and reporting frameworks across ANZ. Reporting to the Head of SHEQ Strategy and Improvement, you will work collaboratively with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality teams, operational leaders and external stakeholders to support compliance, operational performance and Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ commitment. You will ensure our systems, data and reporting remain effective and aligned with evolving legislation, regulations and standards.

What you'll be responsible for

- Providing leadership and direction for Veolia’s SHEQ Systems and Reporting function, acting as the key point of contact for related matters
- Overseeing the governance, maintenance and continual improvement of Veolia’s key safety, environment and quality systems, and contractor management systems
- Monitoring changes to legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards, ensuring their impact is communicated and embedded across the business
- Supporting Health,



Safety and Environment teams to develop and maintain consistent, high-quality SHEQ policies, procedures and documented information
- Leading SHEQ data governance and reporting, including data quality, performance trends, risk identification and reporting through Tableau and the Enterprise Datalake
- Coordinating SHEQ reporting for Global and VANZ Executive stakeholders, facilitating management reviews and providing tender and business development support as required

What you'll need to be successful

- Tertiary qualifications in Quality, Safety, Environment, Risk Management or a related discipline are highly desirable
- Proven experience in SHEQ or management systems, including Integrated Management Systems Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with experience supporting compliance, internal audits and certification requirements. Experience developing, reviewing and improving business management systems across quality, safety and environment
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills, with experience managing SHEQ data and performance information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and solutions-focused, with strong organisational and time management skills
