About the Company

Our client is an established Australian infrastructure services provider delivering construction, maintenance and operational support across essential infrastructure and industrial environments.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Superintendent to oversee multidisciplinary site activities involving scaffolding, mechanical maintenance, welding and fabrication within the power generation sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing specialist trades and contractors, and ensuring maintenance and shutdown activities are delivered safely, efficiently and within project requirements.

Location - Queensland – Darling Downs / Regional QLD (FIFO or DIDO, depending on the project location)

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent, Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor within power generation, heavy industrial maintenance, shutdowns or major infrastructure projects.




- Strong understanding of scaffolding operations, including erection, modification, dismantling, access systems, working at heights and coordination of scaffolding crews.
- Experience overseeing mechanical maintenance, equipment installation, repairs, plant maintenance and associated industrial mechanical works.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication activities, including structural steelwork, pipework, welding procedures, quality control and inspection requirements.
- Proven ability to supervise multidisciplinary trades, subcontractors and site personnel while coordinating labour, materials, equipment and project schedules.
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS requirements, SWMS, permit-to-work systems, isolation procedures, risk assessments and high-risk industrial activities.
- Ability to manage shutdown planning, monitor productivity, maintain site documentation, resolve operational challenges and communicate effectively with clients, engineers and project management teams.
