About The Position

Our Dubbo practice offers a wide range of ultrasound services to patients from across the Central West and Orana regions. As a Trainee Sonographer, you will receive training and mentoring from a team of highly experienced and dedicated Sonographers, who will instruct you in both the technical aspects of ultrasound and how to provide an exceptional patient experience support as you work towards your ultrasound qualification.





You will liaise closely with doctors and other medical professionals to produce high-quality images that enable superior reports and lead to excellent patient outcomes. We invest in technology and processes that improve our reporting service to further enhance the patient experience and give you the opportunity work with the latest techniques to launch your Sonography career.

This is a 2-year training program to provide you with the time, patient interaction and support to become an exceptional Sonographer.

About You

You are driven by patient care and eager to build a career in ultrasound. You bring a solid clinical foundation, a resilient attitude, and a genuine thirst for knowledge, supported by a commitment to ongoing learning. In addition, you will have:

- A robust commitment to patient care and a caring, respectful approach to every patient
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical environment
- Excellent communication skills with doctors, peers and patients
- A dedication to learning and professional development
- Self-motivation and the drive to progress through your training
- The capacity to balance your workload to ensure timely patient care
- A background in medical imaging if preferred though not essential
