- Resource Management: Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
- Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, site inspections and proactive hazard management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans and relevant construction standards.
- Site Coordination: Manage site access, construction staging, material deliveries, permits and the establishment and maintenance of site facilities.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction challenges, working collaboratively with the Project Manager and engineering team to maintain progress.
- Cost Awareness: Monitor labour hours, plant utilisation, material usage and subcontractor performance to support effective project delivery.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site records, progress reports, resource allocation records and other required project documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with project personnel, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant stakeholders throughout construction.

- Demonstrated experience delivering water pipelines, pressure mains, bulk earthworks or similar civil infrastructure projects.
- Solid technical understanding of pipeline construction methodologies, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, testing and associated civil works.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, plant and resources across an active construction site.
- Experience managing construction programmes, site productivity and daily work planning.
- Strong knowledge of WHS requirements, environmental controls, quality assurance and construction compliance.
