This position provides practical administrative and coordination support to the catering team, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.

The role assists with event administration and general office support, ensuring information is accurate, processes are followed, and catering requirements for concerts and sporting events are organised effectively. Through strong organisation, attention to detail, and service-focused communication, the position supports the delivery of consistent, high-quality catering services aligned with Legends Global standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide administrative support to the Catering Operations Manager and catering leadership team to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Catering department.
- Coordinate catering orders for sporting events, concerts, and activations, ensuring accurate information flow and timely execution.
- Build a positive and productive relationship with the Wildcats Corporate team, to ensure the courtside boxes are well coordinated throughout the season
- Generate accurate and timely reports and catering documentation for internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making and operational planning
- Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing responsive and service-focused support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with catering, culinary, and operations teams to support shared objectives and smooth event delivery.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive commercial, operational, and client information
- Ensure all tasks and processes comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and Legends Global policies and procedures.




- Support a safe and professional workplace by adhering to food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements.
- Undertake additional administrative or operational duties as reasonably directed to support catering operations and objectives.
- Maintain professional and productive relationships with service providers, key internal and external stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
- Comply with all Government legislation, Codes, Standards, and statutory obligations and Legends Global policies and procedures.
- Other duties as may be reasonably directed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Work in a similar role for a large venue or hotel.
- Event planning for a large venue or hotel.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Robust attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills

Successful applicants will require the following

- Certificate in Event Management or Planning (Desirable)
- Knowledge Food & Beverage
- Responsible Service if Alcohol (Desirable)
- Food Safety Certification (Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures) (Desirable)
- Current National Police Clearance
- 100-point ID Check
