Volcanos Steakhouse is looking for experienced, friendly food and drinks runners to join our restaurant team. If you enjoy hospitality, take pride in your work, and love helping guests have a great dining experience, we want to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering food and drinks to guests with care and a friendly smile
- Checking dishes and drinks against orders before serving
- Learning menu items, table numbers, and seat positions
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar, and waitstaff to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Handling plates, trays, and glassware safely and confidently
- Assisting with guest requests and communicating with the team
- Helping clear and reset tables and keeping service areas clean and organised
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures, including handling allergy requests carefully
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year of experience as a food runner or in a similar restaurant role
- Confidence carrying multiple plates and trays of drinks
- A happy, friendly, and bubbly personality
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- A reliable, punctual work ethic and a positive team attitude
- Transparent English communication skills
- A well-presented appearance and high standards of personal hygiene
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
