Position Summary The Research Post-Doctoral Fellow (Level A) will contribute to the development and delivery of the Precision Survivorship research program within the Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship (ARCCS). The role focuses on investigating the biological mechanisms and biomarkers associated with cancer survivorship outcomes, supporting research that aims to improve understanding of the long-term health and wellbeing of cancer survivors. Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment, the position will undertake preclinical and laboratory-based research using a range of experimental approaches, including animal models, cell culture, molecular and protein-based assays, and immunohistochemistry. The role will also contribute to the analysis and interpretation of biological, molecular and clinical data, development of laboratory protocols and research capabilities, and translation of research findings into meaningful outcomes for cancer survivorship. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong laboratory and analytical skills, sound research methodologies, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The role offers opportunities to contribute to high-quality research publications, research collaborations, funding applications and student supervision, while engaging with scientific, clinical and consumer stakeholders to support innovative and impactful cancer survivorship research.
