Our 141-bed Care Community is just 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD and is a spacious and elegant home with flourishing gardens. We have a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community.

About the role
• $29.98 base rate + Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation.

Key responsibilities
• Prepare and serve quality coffee, tea and other café beverages.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and build positive connections with café customers.
• Prepare and serve light meals and snacks in line with café procedures.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
• Keep the café, equipment and service areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and infection prevention procedures, including guidance on dietary requirements and allergens.
• Follow the Food Safety Program, including temperature checks, cleaning schedules, stock rotation and safe food handling practices
• Work with the care community team to support a welcoming café experience, respecting residents’ choices, dignity and privacy. About you
• Previous barista experience and confidence using a commercial coffee machine.
• A customer-focused approach, with patience and clear communication skills.
• A reliable, team-focused approach and attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Professional personal presentation
• Ability to follow procedures, prioritise tasks and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.
• Willingness to complete required training and comply with organisational policies and aged care standards.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical, NDIS, and National Police Check Apply now to become an essential part of our care community with Opal HealthCare.
