Job Description
Corporate Headquarters of L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Specialist of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and critical assignments. They will support a team-oriented team that provides senior leadership with detailed reporting and proactive analysis of our financial forecasts. Essential Functions:
• Supports the adoption of AI, new Planning tools, and drives continuous process improvements
• Supports the forecasting of the L3Harris CHQ activity, Segment/Division consolidations, and various supplemental reporting
• Prepares analysis that identifies enterprise Risk and Opportunities to meet targets, alerts leadership with areas for closure through specific actions
• Supports quarterly/yearly/JSP/AOP forecast cycles
• Collaborates cross-functionally,
connects with the team and leadership in a timely manner, and clearly and effectively communicates information
• Assists with various ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional
Skills:
• Ability to work with management in a fast-paced, multiple project environment
• Proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with general supervision
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models
• Prior experience with a government contractor or aerospace and defense company; including knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Hyperion, and Codex #LI-NR1
