This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, managing and developing staff, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring the business meets its operational, financial, and compliance objectives. The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, optimising store presentation and merchandising standards, improving sales performance, and supporting the continued growth and success of the business. Benefits Competitive salary of $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Supportive and friendly work environment Opportunities for career growth as the business expands A role where your leadership directly shapes the customer experience and store success Task & responsibilities Determine the stock levels and service standards to support efficient retail operations Plan, organise, and oversee the daily operations of the convenience retail site Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering, and maintain accurate stock and financial records Develop and implement purchasing, pricing, marketing, and promotional strategies to drive sales and meet business objectives Manage store merchandising, in store presentation,



and promotional activities Monitor and maintain high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction Prepare budgets, sales reports, and operational forecasts, and analyse business performance data Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and manage staff performance Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental protocols, and food safety requirements Resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and operational issues promptly and professionally Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and franchise partners Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal obligations across the business Qualification & experience Completion of an AQF-relevant Diploma or higher qualification in related field Minimum two years of full-time relevant experience as a Retail Manager Excellent communication and customer service abilities Sound understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and sales techniques Ability to analyse sales data and implement improvement strategies Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Solid leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team About Company New Pacific Glory Enterprises Pty Ltd operates a 7-Eleven franchise store in Wallsend, NSW.
