Experienced cleaners & commercial cleaners required across sites in Adelaide Northern suburbs and city fringe Your new company Our client is a well-known provider of cleaning and facilities management services across a number of sites in Adelaide.
They are currently seeking reliable commercial cleaners for Defence sites across the northern suburbs and city fringe.
These roles are Monday to Friday, 6.00am start to 2.00pm/2.30pm finish depending on daily requirements with the potential for ongoing work. Your new role As a cleaner, you will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across the site. Your duties will include: Cleaning bathrooms, offices, kitchens, classrooms, common areas and other facilities Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and sanitising surfaces, Dusting and some low external window cleaning Operating commercial cleaning equipment including floor buffers/polishers, backpack vacuums and wet/dry vacuums for carpet cleaning Emptying bins and disposing of general and recyclable waste Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Completing cleaning tasks to required site standards What you'll need to succeed Minimum 6 months' commercial or industrial cleaning experience Experience using commercial cleaning equipment,
including floor buffers/polishers and backpack vacuums and equipment for strip and seal Confidence using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Physically fit and comfortable completing repetitive cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, mopping and vacuuming Ability to wear and operate a backpack vacuum for extended periods Ability to safely lift and carry up to 15kg Reliable with a solid work ethic and good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test Willingness to complete a National Police Check Australian citizenship preferred due to Defence site clearance requirements What you'll get in return Monday to Friday work 6.00am to 2.00pm/ 2.30pm shifts depending on daily requirements Competitive hourly rate Supportive team environment Potential for ongoing work Opportunity to work across established Adelaide sites What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, apply online or send your resume to Aaliyah Johnson at .
