An established WA organisation with a strong focus on governance, community outcomes, and continuous improvement is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its procurement team. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement activities, managing contracts, and ensuring best-practice purchasing across the organisation.

Your new role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will provide procurement and contract management support across a diverse portfolio of goods, services, and works.Key responsibilities include:

- Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including quotations, tenders and contract establishment
- Supporting contract administration, renewals, variations and performance monitoring
- Providing procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Assisting with tender evaluations and supplier engagement activities
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, legislation and governance requirements
- Maintaining procurement records and contract documentation
- Contributing to process improvements and procurement best practice initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in procurement,



purchasing, contracts or supply chain
- Knowledge of procurement processes, tendering and contract management principles
- Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within local government, government or a regulated environment will be highly regarded
