Are you looking to kick-start a hands-on career in the construction industry? East Coast Apprenticeships is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Fibrous Plastering Apprenticeship while completing a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.
This is a excellent opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and develop valuable trade skills working alongside experienced industry professionals.
What You'll Be Doing
As an apprentice, you'll gain practical experience in a range of fibrous plastering and wall lining tasks, including:
- Installing plasterboard to walls and ceilings
- Fixing standard plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
- Reading and interpreting building plans
- Setting and finishing plasterboard joins
- Sanding and preparing surfaces for finishing
- Measuring, cutting, and fixing cornices
- Assisting with general plastering and construction tasks as directed
You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the industry.
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you will ideally have:

✅ Strong reliability and punctuality
✅ Motivation to build a long-term trade career
✅ A current driver's licence and reliable transport
✅ Previous carpentry experience (desirable but not essential)
✅ The ability to work well within a team environment
