About the Company

Our client is a well-established project home builder in NSW, known for delivering premium homes across Sydney, Illawarra, and the Hunter regions. They specialise in single and double-storey designs, house and land packages, knock down re-builds, offering fixed-price contracts, quality inclusions, and a streamlined build process aimed at first-home buyers, families and investors.

About the Role

They are seeking a Senior Production Estimator to join a high-performing estimating team.

You will take ownership of complex projects, ensuring accurate costings, detailed BOQs, and seamless handover to construction.

You will play a key role in managing the full production estimating process, from reviewing documentation through to issuing purchase orders, while also supporting continuous improvement across systems and master BOQs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production estimating for complex residential projects (KDR, custom, turnkey, display homes)
- Prepare detailed take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Issue pricing requests to suppliers and subcontractors
- Review plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with budgets and company procedures




- Conduct peer reviews of estimates and ensure quality control
- Monitor budgets and provide commentary on discrepancies
- Support database management, templates, and system improvements
- Liaise with internal teams across design, drafting, construction, and customer care

About You

- Proven experience as a Production Estimator within residential construction
- Proficient in Databuild (favorable)
- Proficient in Companion Systems (favorable)
- Strong knowledge across KDR and custom homes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a quick-paced setting
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant qualification in Building & Construction (Cert IV or higher preferred)
- Solid understanding of the Building Code and industry regulations
