With continued growth across our underground operations, we are seeking experienced Jumbo Operators to join our high-performing mining team. This is an excellent chance to secure long-term employment with a company that is investing in its people, assets and future growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in achieving development targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, productivity and quality.
Working on an even-time 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of twin-boom jumbo drill rigs within our underground mining operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Minimum two years' experience operating twin-boom Sandvik Jumbo drill rigs in an underground mining environment
- Proven ability to achieve development and production targets safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of underground mining environments and safe work practices
- Commitment to teamwork, communication and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated understanding of applicable Work Health and Safety requirements
- Underground mining qualifications and relevant tickets highly regarded
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights certification obtained within the last five years
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
