Horizon Steel Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Boilermaker / Structural Steel Tradesperson to join our growing team in Osborne Park. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced industry professionals on a variety of structural steel and construction projects.

As an apprentice, you will develop practical skills in welding, fabrication, installation and structural steelwork while working towards a nationally recognised trade qualification.

About the Role

Working under the guidance of qualified tradespeople, you will:

- Assist with the fabrication and welding of structural steel components.
- Learn and apply welding techniques including MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
- Support the installation of structural steel on construction sites.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Use hand and power tools, including grinders, torches and welding equipment.
- Assist with measuring, cutting and preparing materials for fabrication.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in formal training and on-the-job learning.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure,



organised and productive work environment.

About You Essential Requirements
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication or Structural Steelwork.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Desirable Qualifications
- White Card.
- High Risk Work Licence (DG, LF, WP or RB).
- Previous experience in construction, fabrication or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
