The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead a small accounting team and take ownership of month-end close, balance sheet integrity, financial controls and stakeholder engagement across a complex operational portfolio. This is a high-profile role providing exposure to senior stakeholders, involvement in finance transformation projects, adaptable working arrangements requiring 2-3 days per week in the office, a collaborative culture and the opportunity to develop your leadership career within a large ASX-listed organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure P&L; integrity
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues and control exceptions
- Manage and develop a small accounting team
- Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requirements
- Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives




- Support a hybrid onshore/offshore delivery model

Your Profile

- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Financial Controller or similar
- Strong technical accounting and month-end reporting experience
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to identify issues, improve processes and drive outcomes
- Experience with a large, complex organization preferred
- Exposure to shared services or offshore teams is advantageous
