Bundaberg Hospital in Queensland is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department on a short-term contract basis. This is a focused chance for ED professionals to contribute to a busy, high-acuity environment during the peak summer period. The contract runs from 14 December to 30 December 2026, spanning approximately 2.5 weeks with a three-day working pattern.

Preferred Requirements

- Minimum two years of post-registration experience in an emergency department setting




- Current triage training and demonstrated competence in triage assessment
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Resuscitation training and the ability to respond confidently in high-acuity situations
- Strong clinical reasoning and the capacity to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist knowledge in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are highly valued
