The Opportunities

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Room Assistant to join our growing team.

Room Assistant (Certificate III & Diploma)

As a Room Assistant Educator, you will work collaboratively with your Room Leader and fellow educators to deliver high-quality education and care while building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

- Create warm, inclusive and engaging learning environments where every child feels safe, valued and supported

- Deliver play-based educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Support children's learning, wellbeing and development through intentional teaching and meaningful interactions

- Maintain a safe, stimulating and well-organised learning setting

- Promote child safety and uphold all health, safety and compliance requirements

- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to provide exceptional education and care

What We're Looking For





The successful applicants will be flexible and available to work rostered shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

- Current NSW Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection and Child Safety training

- Child Protection and GECCKO Child Safety Training Certificates

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for providing exceptional early childhood education and care

- Positive, reliable and professional attitude

- Commitment to child safety and continuous professional growth
