Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Transport team in SA and build a career across a diverse portfolio of road, highway and civil infrastructure projects. You’ll contribute to new-build and upgrade projects for state, local government and other infrastructure clients, providing civil design and technical input from planning through to delivery.

Working within our broader Transport team, you’ll have opportunities to support other varied and interesting civil infrastructure projects across the areas of Aviation, Civil infrastructure and Defence, working alongside our local team who specialise in pavements, drainage and surface water, geotechnical, road design, traffic and transport and working alongside our Technical Leads, help us develop practical, integrated solutions for our clients. Alongside strengthening your roads and civil engineering expertise, you’ll also progressively build capability in project and design management, client engagement and business development.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Contributing to the planning and design of new and upgraded road and highway infrastructure
• Providing civil engineering design and technical input across projects for state government,



local government and other infrastructure clients
• Opportunities to support aviation, civil infrastructure, Defence, pavements, geotechnical engineering and surface water projects
• Working within multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, integrated design solutions
• Building capability beyond technical delivery through increasing exposure to project and design management
• Developing client and stakeholder relationships while gaining exposure to proposals and business development

What would you bring to the team?

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Between 4and 7 years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within roads, transport or related infrastructure in a consulting environment
• An ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Great communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• An interest in building broader skills across project management, client engagement and business development
