The Opportunity
As the SHEQ Manager, you will lead the delivery of safety, health, environment and quality outcomes across Ventia's Rig & Well Services contract, while developing and mentoring a team of SHEQ Advisors.

Working closely with Chevron and Ventia stakeholders, you will lead assurance and risk management programs, oversee incident investigations, analyse performance trends and identify opportunities to continuously improve safety, environmental and quality performance across the contract.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, influence at all levels, and provide pragmatic solutions that support both operational performance and client expectations in a complex, high-risk environment.
What You'll Bring
We're interested in speaking with experienced SHEQ leaders who have built their careers within contracting, construction, maintenance, resources, utilities or industrial services environments.
You'll bring:

- Strong experience managing audits, assurance programs, investigations and risk management activities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop SHEQ teams
- Experience working in high-risk operational environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Practical, solution-focused leadership style
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality or a related discipline
Highly Regarded
- Experience working in contractor environments supporting major clients, preferably within oil & gas, drilling, maintenance or resources operations
- ICAM, TapRooT, Lead Auditor or similar qualifications
About You
You understand the reality of contracting environments.
You know how to maintain strong client relationships while constructively challenging operational teams and balancing compliance obligations with practical delivery outcomes.
Most importantly, you're someone who can build trust with both the client and the operational team while driving SHEQ performance improvements.
