The Role - the volunteer will support the Program Coach to set up, deliver and pack up the Boccia and Wheelchair Fundamentals Program on Monday afternoons/evenings at Cairns PCYC, helping to create a secure, welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- ensure all equipment is at the venue, in working order and read to use
- setting up and packing away equipment
- welcoming participants and assisting the Program Coach with registration
- supporting the Program Coach during activities
- assisting participants as required
- monitoring safety and reporting concerns to the Program Coach
- helping to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all participants
