Our SA branch is looking for a hands-on Site Leading Hand to join our projects delivery team and be responsible for leading onsite project teams, overseeing the installation and setup of AV systems, and mentoring Site Technicians. This role involves ensuring adherence to construction best practices, managing site-specific tasks, and serving as the face of Pro AV Solutions during project delivery.

- Lead and actively participate in the installation of AV systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, cabling and equipment racks.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and cable schedules to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform cable terminations, equipment fit-offs, fault-finding and quality assurance checks.
- Supervise, mentor and provide technical guidance to onsite technicians, promoting a positive and high-performing team environment.
- Coordinate daily onsite activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with the Project Delivery team to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation progress, quality checks and reporting of issues.
- Assist with equipment verification and ensure materials are available and accounted for.
- Maintain compliance with all workplace health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) requirements, promoting safe work practices across the team.

If you have the following attributes, we would welcome your application!

- Minimum 4 years' experience in AV installation, construction or a related technical field.
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, installation practices and construction site requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret AV wiring diagrams, technical drawings and low-level designs.
- Hands-on, adaptable and solutions-focused approach to onsite challenges.
- Have experience with the use of power tools for commercial cabling and equipment installation
- Like the variety of different work sites
- Physically capable of undertaking manual handling and installation tasks.
- Have a great work ethic, a can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
