Veterinary Nurse – Traralgon

Traralgon Vet Centre is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team. If you love animal care, take pride in your work and are ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

You’ll be a key part of our clinical team, with day-to-day responsibilities including:

- Nursing care and monitoring of hospitalised patients
- Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and surgery
- Anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
- Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and treatment areas
- Running in-house lab tests and diagnostics with Idexx
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Client communication, education and patient discharge
- Keeping the clinic clean, organised and well equipped

About You

- A qualified Veterinary Nurse or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a veterinary clinic




- Confident with nursing, anaesthetic monitoring and lab procedures, and able to step straight into our team
- Warm, compassionate and qualified with both patients and their owners
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Currently living in the Traralgon / Gippsland region
- Full Australian work rights. Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
