Transaction Monitoring Manager | The Star Brisbane As the Transaction Monitoring Manager, you will lead a team of Analysts and Managers responsible for delivering critical transaction monitoring activities in line with The Star’s AML/CTF Program and regulatory requirements. You will oversee the assessment of transaction monitoring alerts, customer activity and risk, including KYC, ECDD and ongoing due diligence for higher-risk customers. With delegated authority, you will review and submit regulatory reports to AUSTRAC, including Suspicious Matter Reports, Threshold Transaction Reports and International Funds Transfer Instructions. You will provide leadership across BAU operations, resource planning and workload allocation while ensuring matters relating to money laundering and terrorism financing risk are appropriately identified and escalated. You will also partner closely with internal teams, law enforcement and key stakeholders to support investigations, customer risk assessments and source of wealth reviews. • Previous experience in an AML/CTF Analyst or similar financial crime role, with solid knowledge of transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• At least 3 years’ experience in cage,



count and patron account procedures within a casino and/or gaming environment.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international banking requirements, statutory compliance obligations and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent investigative, analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex information, exercise sound judgement and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytical software and database record management systems.
