As an Australian-based manufacturer, we supply leading pathology laboratories across Australia and distribute our products globally. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our diverse, supportive, and talented team.

We are seeking team-oriented, methodical, and detail-focused Manufacturing Assistant to support the assembly of our finished diagnostic kits. This role involves product labelling, reagent dispensing, kit assembly, quality inspections, and general manufacturing activities.

This is a casual position, offering up to 20 hours per week.

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:

- Perform the production and assembly of EasyScreen® diagnostic kits.
- Follow manufacturing instructions accurately and complete required documentation.
- Operate and maintain production equipment used in kit manufacturing.
- Collaborate with production staff and logistics providers to support efficient daily operations.
- Report any non-conformances, deviations, quality issues, errors, or stock discrepancies to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Pack shipping cartons and prepare products for dispatch.
- Receive and unload deliveries from the warehouse, verify contents, unpack materials, and place them in designated storage locations.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses and sites as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.




- The ability to follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and manufacturing/laboratory procedures.
- The ability to accurately complete production documentation and quality records.
- The ability to work in a controlled manufacturing environment and comply with cleanroom requirements where applicable.

It is advantageous , but not essential, if your personal talent tool kit includes:

- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and quality systems.
- Previous experience in an ISO 13485-accredited manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with assembly line equipment and machinery.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience conducting stock counts and inventory management activities.
- Availability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours when required.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to work.
