Qualifications & Experience:

* A minimum of 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role and in a busy restaurant
* Trade qualifications with Associate Degree, Diploma or Higher qualification in Commercial Cookery a must
* Intermediate to advanced communication skills
* Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
* Excellent organizational skills
* Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP




*Skills and experience in both Indian and contemporary Australian cuisines are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Help Planning menu preparation & ensure adequate supplies are available for expected service
* Follow the instructions given by chef
* Maintain excellent presentation standards for all food, whilst maintaining recipe standards
* Regulating and monitoring temperatures of all the equipment's used in kitchen like grills, fridges, ovens and freezers
* Prepare and cook food and seasoning of the food to ensure high quality
* Ensure correct portioning of the food items during serving of food .
* Train the kitchen hands and apprentice in the kitchen.
* Keep all working areas clean, tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards

Minimum Salary from $80000 to $90000 Plus superannuation

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
