As the Health and Gourmet Lead, you will be an integral part of our team, working to ensure the smooth operation of our Health, Wellbeing & Gourmet department. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager and Deli team, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across customer service, displays, merchandising, stock management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain strong department standards and ensure the smooth execution of marketing and merchandising activities.
- Manage stock levels, promote sales, and contribute to cost control, shrinkage, and wastage targets.
- Uphold food safety practices, workplace health, safety guidelines, HACCP compliance, and company procedures.
- Provide an excellent customer experience through visual merchandising and building a strong team workplace.

About You:





- Prior experience in the deli department of a supermarket is desirable
- Experience in or an interest in visual merchandising is highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, WHS regulations, weights and measurements, and trade practices.
- Basic computer skills, preferably with grocery POS experience.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.
- Certificate in hygiene for food handlers.
- Genuine interest in health, wellbeing, and gourmet products.

Pay: $28.89 – $34.76 per hour
