We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and effective Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes according to our established recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies; wash, chop, measure, and prep ingredients before service.
- Cooking & Plating: Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company recipes, portions, and presentation guidelines.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets high standards of freshness, taste, and temperature.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and waste-management protocols; maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift.
- Inventory Management: Properly label, date, and rotate ingredients (FIFO method); report any stock shortages or equipment issues to the chef or manager.
- Team Collaboration:



Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and kitchen teammates to ensure smooth, timely service.

Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, knife skills, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a hot environment, and lift heavy items (up to 15–20 kg) as required.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, organized, and capable of managing multiple orders simultaneously under pressure.
- Certifications: Valid local food handler's certificate or Food Safety Supervisor qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.

Pay: $55,500.00 – $85,700.00 per year
