Reformer Pilates Instructor | Permanent Part-Time
Urban Pilates, North Sydney | $35–$40 per hour

We’re looking for a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor to join our team at Urban Pilates in North Sydney.

We’re a friendly, 10-reformer studio with a lovely mix of regulars and newcomers. We take the time to get to know our clients and want someone who enjoys doing the same—learning names, noticing progress and helping people feel comfortable in class.

You’ll work alongside our Pilates instructors and physiotherapy team, with opportunities to share ideas, develop your teaching and learn from each other.

About the role

This is a permanent part-time position with regular shifts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Planning and teaching Reformer Pilates classes that are enjoyable, varied and well paced.
- Giving explicit cues and helping clients with their technique.
- Adjusting exercises to suit different abilities, with options to make movements easier or more challenging.
- Welcoming new clients and showing them how to use the reformer safely.
- Checking in about injuries or limitations and liaising with our physiotherapists when needed.
- Managing class check-ins and keeping classes running on time.
- Keeping the studio tidy and equipment clean between sessions.




- Answering questions about classes and helping clients find the right option for them.

About you

You’re confident leading a class, approachable and reliable. You enjoy teaching a range of abilities and can give individual attention while keeping the whole class moving.

You’ll need:

- A recognised Reformer Pilates instructor qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Good communication skills and an eye for technique.
- Availability for regular shifts. Early morning, evening or weekend availability is valued.
