The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our Joondalup store. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a team, growing the business, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be organised, hardworking and passionate about achieving sales targets while ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth business activities.
● Lead, train, supervise and support staff to maintain high performance.
● Develop sales strategies and monitor sales performance to achieve business targets.
● Manage stock levels, ordering, pricing and product availability.
● Coordinate with suppliers regarding product quality, pricing and deliveries.
● Plan marketing activities and maintain attractive product displays.
● Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
● Prepare sales reports, maintain business records and monitor store performance.
● Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
● Assist with budgeting, purchasing and cost control.
● Maintain store cleanliness, workplace safety and company standards.
● Report business performance and operational matters to the business owner.
● Ensure daily tasks are properly delegated and completed on time.
About You
● Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or at least three years of relevant experience is required.
● Ability to lead, motivate and support staff to achieve business goals.
● Good communication, problem solving and customer service skills.
● Strong understanding of sales, business operations and customer needs.
● Experience with stock management and ordering.
● Self motivated, organised and able to work independently.
● Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
