Looking for your first kitchen role or a fresh start in hospitality?

Redcape Hospitality is looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to join the team at Hotel Elermore.

You’ll focus on washing dishes, keeping equipment clean and helping the kitchen stay organised through busy service. It’s casual work at around 15 hours a week, with weeknight evening shifts and split shifts on weekends.

Experience is welcome, but not essential. Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and we’ll help you get started.

What you’ll be doing

- Wash and put away crockery, utensils, pots and pans
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organised and ready for service
- Keep up with dishes so chefs have the equipment they need
- Complete daily cleaning tasks and remove rubbish
- Help with deliveries, storage and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn




- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to pitch in and support the kitchen team
- Ability to stay organised during busy service
- Availability for weeknight evenings and weekends (split shifts), including public holidays
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is welcome but not essential
